HOW BIG ARE THE CLASS SIZES? WHAT IS THE SCHOOL YEAR? WHAT IS THE SCHOOL DAY? WHAT CREDENTIALS DO I NEED?

Class maximum of 22-25 students.
School year is September 1 to June 30.
School day is similar to a Manitoba and Canadian school day.
Teachers must have a Bachelor of Education degree or a Masters of Education Degree, and a Canadian Teacher Certification from any Canadian province.

ARE THE SCHOOL ADMINISTRATIONS CANADIAN? WHERE DO THE TEXTBOOKS, CURRICULUM GUIDES AND CLASSROOM RESOURCES COME FROM? DOES THIS COUNT AS CANADIAN TEACHING EXPERIENCE?

Each school has a Canadian principal.
Manitoba textbooks, curriculum guides, and classroom resources are provided.
Each year of teaching experience in an overseas Manitoba curriculum school counts as a year of experience in Manitoba and may be accepted in other provinces.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF TEACHING OVERSEAS?
WHERE DO THE STUDENTS ATTEND UNIVERSITY?

China and Egypt have very low costs of living.
Transportation in these countries is very inexpensive.
There are many Manitoba and other Canadian teachers at these schools.
Many of the students who graduate from the Manitoba programs go on to begin their university studies in Canada and the United States.
